How to make Homemade Vanilla Extract

I found this awesome tutorial on how to make your own vanilla extract, I found a great local source for big fat vanilla beans that were only $12 for 10 that were perfect for this recipe. I bought the little bottles from farmers but if you dont want to do that you can just put the vanilla beans straight into the Vodka bottle. Give it a go its so easy and they make great gifts. Now I just have to wait 8 weeks before I can use them:(
