Browns Bay Market

Down in a little Town called Browns Bay on the North shore of Auckland is a Flea Market held every Sunday morning till noon, we arrived about 10am, the market was busy full of people looking for bargains and fresh produce. Most of the stall holders sell pre-loved items where you can find vintage furniture to second hand books and clothing.

The Market is run by a Charitable Trust so the proceeds go to the North Shore Coastguard and Local community.

For breakfast I bought a Delicious Blueberry danish from the Pukeko Bakery's stand and a Vanilla cupcake from a stall raising money for Breast Cancer.

There was one stall that sold an unusual looking hot dog called The Ugly hot dog, its a corn fed chicken kranskys sausage covered in deep fried batter and hot chips. I didn't try one of these but I did get two bags of lovely bagels for lunch when we got home. So all in all we had a great morning down at Browns Bay Flea Market.
